Create Burned Wood Art Easily with Cadence Wood Burning Gel
Cadence Wood Burning Gel is a heat-activated, non-toxic formula that allows you to burn designs onto raw wood or fabric like denim with precision and ease. Achieve authentic burn effects without harming the natural grain of the material.
What is Wood Burning Gel?
This gel reacts to heat by darkening the surface it’s applied to, simulating a burnt wood appearance. It is safe, CE & EN 71 compliant, and eliminates the need for traditional pyrography tools – making it ideal for hobbyists and professionals alike.
How to Use
Apply to raw, untreated wood or denim fabric.
Use Cadence stencils for crisp, professional patterns.
Allow the gel to dry for 5–10 minutes before applying heat.
Use a heat gun with a minimum temperature of 200 °C (392 °F).
Keep the heat gun 2–5 cm from the surface and apply heat evenly until the desired burn shade appears.
Wipe off residue with a dry cloth and finish with mineral oil or varnish if desired.
Suitable Surfaces
Best used on unfinished wood (e.g., pine, MDF), cotton denim, and similar untreated materials. Do not use on varnished, sealed, or painted surfaces.
