Eggs Mosaic Crackle

It is a two-step water-based medium that gives a mosaic crack appearance. It is used in acrylic paint or painting cracking techniques.

The product itself is transparent. First, Step 1 is applied to the entire surface. Once completely dry, Step 2 is applied. As it starts to dry, cracks begin to form. Depending on the air temperature, the formation of cracks may take 12-16 hours.

The gaps between the cracks are wiped with Cadence Antiquing medium. It is finished with a thinner-based varnish.

Contains no harmful substances. Complies with CE & EN 71 standards.

Technical Information:

• All surfaces to be applied must be free of dust, dirt, and oil, and must be dry.
• Should be applied in a horizontal position with the help of a soft-bristled brush.
• Step 2 is applied after Step 1 becomes completely transparent.
• Color transitions can be made.
• Should be left to dry naturally.
• The size of the cracks varies depending on the thickness of the application.
• Depending on the air temperature, only Step 2 can be applied as a second coat 3-6 hours later.
• Water-based Finger Wax, Dora Wax can be used to make the cracks visible.
• Varnish can be applied if desired.
