Crackle Glaze - Classic Paint Crackle 120ML

Paint Cracking is the most traditional formula of the cracking technique. Being single-stage provides ease of use. Once it becomes transparent, the paint is applied in a single stroke to prevent the structure of the cracks from being disturbed, and it is not reapplied.

It is a special water-based medium used in the single-stage cracking technique.

It is easier to use than other two-stage mediums. The first coat of paint is applied, and after it dries, the cracking medium is applied and left to dry (best results in 2-4 hours).

Then, a contrasting color acrylic paint is thinned with water and applied. For fine cracks, the paint and cracking medium are applied thinly. For the best results, the first and last coat of acrylic paint should be applied in the same direction, and the cracking medium in the opposite direction. It is finished with spray varnish.

Technical Information:

• All surfaces to be applied should be free of dust, dirt, and oil, and should be dry.
• Should be applied in a horizontal position with a soft-bristled brush.
• Natural drying should be done.
• The size of the cracking varies according to the thickness of the application.
• To make the cracks visible, the contrasting color of the applied color should be chosen as the base.
• The premium paint should be slightly diluted and applied in a single stroke, and the painted surface should not be re-touched.
• Painting can be done not only with a brush but also with a sea sponge to create different effects.
• Varnish can be applied if desired.
