What is Antiquing Paint?

Antiquing paint is applied over an acrylic base coat and wiped to create worn, layered effects. It has a semi-matte finish and is semi-opaque to reveal the base underneath. Non-toxic and compliant with CE & EN 71 standards, it's safe and easy to use.

How to Apply

  • Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and painted.
  • Shake well before use; optionally mix with Glazing Medium for a thinner texture.
  • Apply with a brush or graining tool.
  • Wipe off excess with a damp cloth to achieve desired texture.
  • Allow natural drying or use warm air at a distance.
  • Drying time: 3–6 hours. Finish with a suitable varnish for added protection.
